Advocacy Highland provides free and confidential independent Advocacy under the Mental Health (Care & Treatment)(Scotland) Act 2003. Our role is to support people to speak up for themselves to help them have a stronger voice and to have as much control as possible over their own lives.
Advocacy Highland may be able to help with many issues, for example:

Compulsory measures under the Mental Health Act 2003
Mental Health Tribunals
Adult Support & Protection
Guardianship
Support Issues

We are specifically funded to provide advocacy under the Mental Health Act to those over 16 years old who have:-

mental health issues, including personality disorders
learning disabilities
autistic spectrum disorder
dementia
