Miscarriage Support Helpline

Last updated: 31/07/2025

We know that picking up the phone and talking to someone you don’t know can sometimes be a nerve-wracking experience. But we’ll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable, to listen and understand and to answer your questions to the best of our abilities. We can also tell you about your nearest support group or telephone support volunteer – someone who’s been through pregnancy loss themselves and who can offer support and understanding.

"I just talked and cried and the lovely lady on the phone listened without judging me or getting bored. It really helped." - Person who used the helpline.

Our staffed pregnancy loss helpline is available from 9am to 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9am to 8pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, to provide support and information on miscarriage and pregnancy loss.

Your calls and emails to our services are completely confidential.
