3D Printing - Community Access and Learning

Last updated: 09/01/2026

At Cranhill Development Trust, we’re here to make technology feel less confusing and more accessible for everyone in our community.

CDT provides free access to a community 3D printer that anyone can use. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or working on a personal project, our digital worker is on hand to offer guidance, help with design files, and support you through the printing process from start to finish.

We also run a popular 3D Printing Kids Club, giving young people the chance to learn digital design, explore creative technologies, and bring their ideas to life. In addition, we support local primary schools with digital arts and 3D printing activities, helping pupils gain hands-on experience with modern creative tools.

Our aim is to make 3D printing accessible, fun, and confidence-building for all ages.
