Prevention Work
This is a Claimed service
Lanarkshire Rape Crisis delivers a Sexual Violence Prevention Programme which is available to secondary schools and youth organisations in Lanarkshire. This nationally developed programme aims to equip young people with a better understanding of sexual violence in order to negotiate healthy and respectful relationships. The programme offers a wide range of workshops which can be adapted to all year groups from S1 to S6, exploring topics such as Consent, What is Sexual Violence, Power and Online Sexual Harm among others. LRCC offers programmes to colleges and Universities in responding to sexual violence and creating safe campuses for students. We work in partnership with services, organisations and the wider community to campaign and raise awareness of violence against women and the harms of sexual violence.
