Care Experienced Service provides tailored advice, support, and training to foster and kinship carers, helping them understand and respond to the health and wellbeing needs of the children they care for. We offer workshops on topics such as trauma, emotional wellbeing, healthcare rights, and calming techniques. Our Looking After Your Family and Self (LAFS) programme supports kinship carers with self-management skills, stress reduction, and resilience-building. We also host Bear’s Big Adventure Days—fun, inclusive events that combine health rights education with play and connection for care-experienced children and their families. Delivered by a trauma-informed team, our service is free, inclusive, and available across Scotland. Referrals are welcome from carers, families, professionals, and organisations.
