Children's Health Scotland

Children's Health Scotland Logo

Children’s Health Scotland (CHS) is the leading children’s health charity in Scotland, dedicated to ensuring every child and young person has the right to the best possible health. We provide expert support, information, and resources to children and young people with health conditions, their families, carers, and professionals. Our services include health rights education, wellbeing programmes, training, and health-related play. We work directly with children and young people aged 0–18, including those who are care-experienced or living with long-term conditions. Our trauma-informed, rights-based approach is grounded in the UNCRC and GIRFEC and shaped by lived experience. We offer face-to-face and online support, family workshops, and peer-led activities. CHS also campaigns nationally to influence policy and improve child-centred healthcare. All services are free and referrals are welcome from families, schools, NHS boards, and professionals.
