There’s more than one way to be part of Flourish. Choose the level of involvement that works for you — from receiving our members newsletter to light-touch conversations to shaping services. Every option is free, open to anyone 18+ in the Scottish Borders, and led by people with lived and living experience of mental ill health including family members and carers. 

There are 4 main opportunities:

  1. Conversation Cafes (up to 4 per year) to Explore experiences and ideas informally
  2. Focus Groups - Small sessions Consulting on a specific topic or service being developed or improved
  3. Working Groups - Forge plans for Flourish - following up on actions and holding decision makers to account
  4. Support Meetings - a place for lived experience representatives to Belong, offer peer support and develop their skills.
