Tarland Bee Group is a subgroup of Tarland Development Group (SCIO). The group was formed in 2013 and we are open to all for membership.We have a community apiary which we teach from during the summer months. It is sited near the village and is kindly leased to us by The MacRobert Trust. We are currently building a new community facility, also leased from The MacRobert Trust, which will incorporate the Bee Group, the Seed Swap Group and The Apple Pressing Group in the Old Walled Garden at Oldtown of Kincragie. Phase 1 is complete and we are applying for grants to complete Phase 2, an Education Facility.
