Haddo Country Park, Gardens & Adventure Playground

Last updated: 24/02/2025

The Country Park at Haddo preserves the original designed landscape created by the 4th Earl of Aberdeen, and offers a range of facilities for visitors. The park covers almost 240 acres (97 hectares) or woodland, grassland, open parkland and water. There are around 4 miles of surfaced paths, as well as grassy walks in the old Deer Park.

The park is an ideal place for families to come and play. Younger children can feed the ducks and geese at the pond, and older children can go wild in our brand new adventure playground.

For people wanting a quieter visit, the new Craigie Wood walks and the Deer Park provide a peaceful getaway. Entry to the Haddo Country Park and adventure playground is free. Open 7 days a week, dawn till dusk.
