High Life Highland Library Membership entitles anyone who lives, works, or studies in The Highland Council area to use any library in the Highland Libraries network. Members can borrow books and other items, use the request service, use library computers and access hundreds of on-line resources free of charge.  

Fort William Library provides the Community with access to the Internet and computers, weekly events for adults and kids as well as special events such as Author visits. The library is at the east end of Fort William High Street.

Library Activities include:

  • Bookbug Sessions on Wednesdays 11:00 – 11:30, Thursday 11:00 – 11:30, Friday 11:00 – 11:30 (Gaelic Session) and Saturday 11:00– 11:30
  • Lego Club every Monday 15:30 – 17:30 for ages 5 – 12 years
  • Craft & Chat every Thursday 18:00 – 19:30 & Friday 14:00 – 15.30
  • Afternoon Reading Group on the third Wednesday of the month 14:30 – 15:30
  • Evening Reading Group on the fourth Monday of the month 19:00 – 20:00
