High Life Highland is a charity registered in Scotland, formed on the 1st October 2011 by The Highland Council to develop and promote opportunities in culture, learning, sport, leisure, health and wellbeing across 9 services throughout the whole of the Highlands, for both residents and visitors.

Services
Achiltibuie Library is housed in Coigach Community Hall, and is open 5 hours a week (Wed - 10.00 -15.00).
Alness Leisure Centre offers a 25m x 12m (6 lane) Swimming Pool and a variety of swimming lessons and sessions, as well as a large 4 courted games hall that is available for hire.
Alness Library is a spacious purpose-built library merged with the Averon Leisure Centre and offers a range of library services and activities.
Arainn Fhinn, The Fingal Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite, multipurpose sports halls, all weather 3G pitch, and swimming pool.
Ardersier Library is located in the Old School building near the refurbished War Memorial Hall and offers a range of library services and activities.
Ardnamurchan Library is a school and community library adjacent to the entrance to the Sunart Centre and Ardnamurchan High School and offers a range of library services and activities.
Averon Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes.
Aviemore Community and Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including a fitness suite, dance studio and multipurpose sports hall.
Aviemore Library is part of Aviemore Primary School & Community Centre and and offers a range of library services and activities.
Badenoch Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite, dance studio and multipurpose sports halls.
Badenoch Library is a purpose-built library on the upper floor of the Badenoch Centre and offers a range of library services and activities.
Beauly Library is on the ground floor of the Phipps Institute and offers a range of library services and activities.
Ben Nevis Visitor Centre can provide information on walks in Glen Nevis and the Mountain track up Ben Nevis. It also has touch screen facts, quizzes and films covering a range of local history topics.
Bettyhill Library is co-located with a Highland Council Service Point at Naver Teleservice Centre and offers a range of library services and activities.
Black Isle Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite and multipurpose sports hall.
Bonar Bridge Library is situated in the Carnegie Free Library building in the centre of the village and offers a range of library services and activities.
Broadford Library offers a range of library services and activities. Broadford Library also acts as a Service Point giving the local community access to Highland Council.
Brora Library and Cultural Centre is situated in the centre of the village and offers a range of library services and activities.
Brora Mobile Library provides a mobile library service on a three-weekly timetable to communities, residential homes and primary schools in Caithness and Sutherland.
The Caithness Broch Centre, located in the hamlet of Auckengill is a museum dedicated to exploring the history and archaeology of brochs which are a significant part of Scotland’s heritage.
Caol Library is situated near Caol Primary School on Glenkingie Street and offers a range of library services and activities.
High Life Highland’s Countryside Rangers run many events and guided walks which aim to help raise awareness and encourage appreciation of the scenery, wildlife and heritage of the Highlands.
The Craig MacLean Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite, multipurpose sports hall and swimming pool.
Set in the beautiful, historic Hugh Miller Institute, Cromarty Library provides a full range of resources and services and a friendly welcome to both the local community and visitors to the area.

The Far North Mobile Library provides a mobile library service covering the North Coast from John O’Groats to Kinlochbervie.

Fort William Library is located at the east end of Fort William High Street and offers a range of library services and activities.
Fort William Mobile Library van provides a mobile library service operating on a 3-weekly schedule of visits covering a wide area of Lochaber and Badenoch.
Fortrose Community Library is a modern purpose built facility within Fortrose Academy and offers a range of library services and activities.
Gairloch Library is located in Gairloch High School, offering an excellent school and public library service to people living, working or visiting in the area.
Gairloch Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite, sports hall, and climbing wall.
Glenurquhart Community Library is a modern purpose built facility housed within Glenurquhart High School and offers a range of library services and activities.
Golspie Library is located centrally within the village of Golspie and offers a range of library services and activities.
Grantown Library is located in the Court House on the Square and offers a range of library services and activities.
Helmsdale Library is located within Helmsdale Community Centre and offers a range of library services and activities.
The Highland Archive Centre is responsible for collecting, preserving, and making accessible, archives relating to the history of the Highlands.
Highland Folk Museum has over 35 historical buildings onsite to explore and discover how people in the Highlands lived, worked, went to school, and enjoyed their leisure time.

As part of the Highland Archive Service, the Lochaber Archive Centre is responsible for locating, preserving and making accessible documents relating to all aspects of Highland history.

Lochbroom Leisure Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including fitness suite, swimming pool and multipurpose sports hall.

Muir of Ord Library is housed inside the old Tarradale Primary School and is open 3 days a week with a single member of staff on duty. It offers a range of library services and activities.

As part of the Highland Archive Service, the Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre in Portree is responsible for archives relating to Skye and Lochalsh.
Skye and Lochalsh Mobile Library calls at pre-selected points in the communities that it serves on a three week basis.
Sutherland Swimming Pool offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including a swimming pool, health suite and fitness suite.
Tain Library is bright and welcoming, carrying on the tradition of the Carnegie building in which it has been housed for over 100 years. It offers a range of library services and activities.
Tain Royal Academy Community Complex offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including a fitness suite, multipurpose sports hall, swimming pool and lecture theatre.
The Leven Centre offers a range of leisure facilities, activities and classes including a fitness suite, sports hall and all weather pitch.

Thurso Library stands at the end of Sinclair Street on Davidson’s Lane and offers a range of library services and activities. The Art gallery space within Thurso Library also has regular exhibitions.
Ullapool Community Library is on the ground floor of the High School building and offers a range of library services and activities.
The West Ross Mobile Library van is based at Gairloch and operates a mobile library service on a three weekly schedule of visits throughout a wide area of West Ross and into Lochalsh.
Wick Library is located within the East Caithness Community Facility and offers a range of library services and activities.
