High Life Highland Library Membership entitles anyone who lives, works, or studies in The Highland Council area to use any library in the Highland Libraries network. Members can borrow books and other items, use the request service, use library computers and access hundreds of on-line resources free of charge.

Inverness Library offers access to the lending library and reference room as well as a variety of Library Activities including:

  • Reminiscence Group on last Wednesday of each month, 14:30-15:15
  • Bookbug Sessions every Thursday and Saturday morning, 11:15 to 11:45
  • Children’s Lego Club each Wednesday at 15.00-17.00 (we also have larger Duplo blocks designed for younger children ages 1½ to 5+ years)
  • Craft & Chat Group on first Tuesday of every month at 14:30
  • Inverness Library Book Group
  • Meet the Books (informative presentations and a close up look at Inverness Library’s special collections)
  • Author Visits
