Ferrycroft Visitor Centre

Ferrycroft Visitor Centre is an Information and Heritage Centre. There are games, displays and experiences for all ages including three separate display rooms covering “Water”, “Land” and “People” plus at times additional, temporary features (e.g. Local History Society). For the younger ones there is an animal hide and seek, colouring, “Nature Detective” questions and games.

Ferrycroft has a garden and play area.

Admission is free.

Two walks also start from Ferrycroft, the first is the Ord Hill Archaeological Trail (hut circles, burnt mound, chambered cairns), the other walk is Ferrywood with a ruined broch, views of Shin Dam and lochside path.

The centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
Toilet facilities include a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities in the ladies.
Admission is free.
