MRO Yarns & Crafts in Buckie is a welcoming space where creativity meets community. Trainees work alongside staff and volunteers to gain practical retail and craft skills, build confidence, and take part in meaningful projects.

They help with tasks such as operating the till, restocking shelves, assisting with deliveries, assisting in window displays, and working on knitting, crocheting, and weaving projects.

Visitors can expect a friendly environment with a wide range of yarns, buttons, craft supplies, and creative advice. Trainees are fully involved in the shop, gaining life skills and a sense of pride in their work.

Availability: Monday to Friday, 9.30am–3.30pm

Requirements: Willingness to learn, follow guidance, and take part in practical and creative activities.

One accessible toilet for staff, volunteers and trainees downstairs.
Three gender neutral toilets are available within the building for staff, volunteers and trainees.
Rooms available throughout the building which can be used as a quiet space when/if required.
