Fife Community Safety Support Service
This is a Claimed service
Fife Council's Safer Communities team works to deliver community safety covering a range of issues including crime, antisocial behaviour, public perception of crime and safety in our homes and on our roads.
We have dedicated workers who work with colleagues to make people feel safer and reduce crime. The service aims to negate the causes and fear from those impacted by crime including hate incidents and anti-social behaviour.
FCSSS aims to resolve conflict between families and parties in dispute by facilitating communication using a range of safe and facilitated methods. Restorative Justice involves facilitating communication between the person harmed by anti-social behaviour and the person responsible for causing the harm.
Sacro offers emotional support and practical guidance to witnesses who have been summoned to attend court. Our staff will engage with witnesses to explain the court process, accompany them to court and advocate on their behalf with other agencies where appropriate.
