Change Mental Health runs the Employability Support Project across Scotland through a person-centred approach, to build a clear plan in helping people reach their employability goals. We offer support to participate in meaningful group activities ask task-focused one-to-one support.

The main outcomes are that an individual feels:

  • An increased confidence in their social skills
  • An improved knowledge and increased confidence in their IT skills
  • An increase in their core skills.

This can include better time management, decision-making, problem-solving, and more.

People will be helped to develop a CV and empowered to seek out opportunities for volunteering, further education and/or paid employment. The majority of the support we offer is through participation in group activities. This can range from art, photography and creative writing, through to film, digital art and history. People using the service inform the creation of groups and what is important to them.
