Women's Support Services

Last updated: 02/12/2025

Firstly, we recognise the courage it takes to seek help and we are here for one purpose. If you feel frightened or scared you can call/contact us and we will help. What you can expect when you call us:

  • We will believe what you tell us
  • We will listen if you want to talk
  • We will understand your situation
  • Together we will develop a safety plan specifically for you
  • Together we will develop an action plan that focuses on your needs

You don’t need to be referred by a professional to access support from Monklands Women’s Aid. If you are experiencing domestic abuse and would like to speak to someone directly, you can self-refer by contacting one of our local offices.

Our specialist support staff will talk with you in confidence, explain our services, and help you decide what support feels right for you. You are not alone — support is here when you're ready.
