Sight Scotland Veterans
Sight Scotland Veterans supports any veteran (this includes T.A.'s, reserves, National Service, military medics/ nurses and merchant Navy/ Red Cross nurses who assisted under military command) resident in Scotland who live with a sight loss condition that negatively impacts their daily life.
The condition can be in the early stages of diagnosis and need more than opticians spectacles to assist. The service is free and ongoing; it provides support, visual impairment assistive equipment, social experiences and onward referrals/ signposting. There are also 2 custom built activity centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh offering various supported activities.
