NHS Ayrshire & Arran

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is the regional NHS Board for Ayrshire and Arran, accountable to the Scottish Government and responsible for the protection and the improvement of their population's health and for the delivery of frontline healthcare services.  NHS Ayrshire & Arran is also responsible for making sure the people of Ayrshire and Arran get community health services from:

  • GP practices providing a full range of general medical services;
  • Dental practitioners providing NHS dental services;
  • Community pharmacies providing a range of pharmaceutical services;
  • Optometry practices providing a range of services.

Health Visitor Support Workers (East Ayrshire)

Health Visiting Service for the area of East Ayrshire

Healthy and Active Rehabilitation Programme (HARP)

Regions:
  • East Ayrshire
  • North Ayrshire
  • South Ayrshire

HARP is for people in Ayrshire who are affected by more than one long-term condition. HARP provides education, advice and support so that people can achieve and maintain the best possible health.
