The Greater Easterhouse Alcohol Awareness Project (GEAAP)
The Glasgow East Alcohol Awareness Project (GEAAP) has been offering a service to the East of Glasgow since 1991. GEAAP’s aim is to reduce the harm associated with the use and misuse of alcohol.
GEAAP offer FREE services to any residents of East Glasgow who are concerned about their own or another’s alcohol use. Our services are entirely confidential, we don’t share your information with anyone else.
We want to help those struggling with giving up alcohol to improve their lives and our local community. If you’re thinking of giving up alcohol and want to enquire about how we can help, then get in touch with us. We also help with awareness and prevention for young people too, get in touch if you want us to speak at your school.

GEAPP's Counselling Service is open to anyone who is concerned about their own or another person’s alcohol misuse and offers a safe, confidential space to explore any challenges you may be facing.

The Alcohol Peer Support Service aims to offer support and encouragement to individuals who are trying to achieve long term recovery from alcohol addiction and need help to access new opportunities.

GEAAP offers a range of initiatives, aiming to inform and educate young people in the East of Glasgow about alcohol and it’s many related issues.

GEAAP’s Alcohol Support Group for Women provides women from the North East of Glasgow the opportunity to attend weekly support group meetings inviting them to partake in a wide range of activities.

Young Booze Busters is an alcohol awareness programme for children and young people. It offers an online resource available nationally and is also delivered in primary schools in the East of Glasgow.
